Who Is the Fountain Valley Rotary Club?

Rotary is an organization of business and professional volunteers united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

The first Rotary Club meeting was in Chicago on February 23, 1905. Rotary spread outside of the United States in 1920 and now is in more than 200 countries worldwide.

The Fountain Valley Rotary Club has dedicated their time and efforts to local school programs and their community since 1984.

Basically, we're a bunch of volunteers looking for good things to do. Our local focus is on supporting school children with awards and scholarships, leadership training, excellence in teaching and working with adults with special needs.

We have a speaker each week during our meeting. It is usually a special organization representative or local official who comes to speak about their role in the community. From there, as a club we decide if we can be involved and contribute.

Our membership is currently open to many professions. Please call 714.749.9920 or email Fountainvalleyrotaryclub@gmail.com.

The Rotary Four-Way Test

1. Is it the truth?
2. Is it fair to all concerned?
3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
4. Will it be beneficial for all concerned?
